Ancient Warriors practiced both the arts of war and the arts of peace. Flower arranging, poetry, music, calligraphy were just some of the many hobbies ancient warriors practiced to develop their everyday mindfulness. They would practice being so focused on the task at hand that they achieved a state of Chung Shin Tong Il or supreme concentration. Thus they learned to live in the moment and experience profound peace in their everyday lives.
