Picture of the Masters

There are two pictures in the Dojo/Dojang. The one on the left is Grandmaster Hwang Kee the founder of our art Tang Soo Do and the one on the right Master Daniel Segarra the head of our style of Tang Soo Do called Moo Sa Do Kwan.

Grandmaster Hwang Kee was born November 9th 191 – July 14 2002.
Hwang Kee was one of the most important and influential figures in the Korean martial arts. He was the founder of the school of Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan style. He was one of the five original Founders to open solely Korean Martial Arts Kwans, after the Japanese Occupation.

Master Daniel Segarra born December 5th 1964 is an 8th degree black/blue belt in Tang Soo Do Moo Sa Do Kwan and a 5th degree black belt in Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan. He was on the 1989 U.S A team in Seoul Korea and the 1995 U.S.A team again in Seoul Korea. He has been on Good Morning America, has been featured in numerous international Martial arts publications. Master Segarra has trained with some of the most famous martial arts Masters and Grandmasters in the History of the martial arts and he shares that wealth of knowledge with his students in the style Tang Soo Do Moo Sa Do Kwan.
