Certificate

In ancient times proof of rank was awarded by hand written scrolls with the teachers red personal stamp.
In Korea martial arts were so respected and important that many people would actually use their martial arts certificates to show they were people of good character and would often get jobs or higher positions because of their certificates proving they were dedicated martial artists.
Eventually scrolls evolved into certificates and martial artists also carried I.D cards like miniature certificates to show their martial art association.
Your certificate is proof of your rank level in the martial arts. Here are what the different parts mean:
1 The Moo Sa Do logo
2 The two Dragons represent the power of choice.
3 The studio number: This indicates which studio & instructor issued your rank. 001 means Headquarters.
4 The Korean writing (hangul) says “Moo Sa So Kwan president Daniel Segarra”
5 The red seal says ‘Moo Sa Do” Warrior Scholar Way School.
6 The left is the Korean way to write Moo Sa Do called Hangul and the right is the Chinese way to write Moo Sa Do called Hanja.
